Quang Binh attracts tourists through exploration tours

The central province of Quang Binh has welcomed over 33,000 visitors in the opening days of the New Year, attracting a large number of tourists by offering exploration tours, according to Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Centre.

One of the main activities is to allow tourists to explore the mysterious Phong Nha cave by kayaking.

Visitor Hoang Thi Ngoc Tram shared that rowing along the world’s longest underground river located within the cave provided her with a fresh experience, adding that she also joined in climbing in a natural and comfortable way to discover newer images of Phong Nha cave.

Hoang Trung Thanh, deputy head of the Sales Department under the Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center, revealed that the new tours contribute to diversifying different types of tourism to help visitors explore the cave at night.

Dang Dong Ha, deputy director of the provincial Tourism Department, emphasized that the locality aims to welcome approximately two million visitors this year, including 10,000 international visitors.

Situated in the central province of Quang Binh, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park was recently listed among the 39 best destinations to visit in 2022 by AFAR Magazine of the United States.
