The Saigon Railway Passenger Transport Company is scheduling additional trains to meet the increased travel demand for the upcoming Vietnamese National Day holiday (September 2).
Five extra trains, coded SN3, SN4, SN5, SN6 and SN8, will operate on the Saigon-Nha Trang route from August 30 to September 3.
Passengers travelling on the SE21 and SE22 Saigon-Hue trains will also enjoy 7-15% discounts on rail fares for groups of various sizes from 20 to more than 50 people.
On the occasion, the Vietnam Railways Corporation (VRC) is offering a 2-8% discount on rail fares for Thong Nhat trains on its north-south route coded SE and TN from August 2 to September 4.
