New food programs are ready to for patrons savor at Saigontourist’s First Hotel and Grand Hotel in HCMC. The “Food gifts at the First Hotel†provides attractive food promotions at the hotel’s First Hot Pot restaurant accompanied with gifts.
With VND90,000, customers can enjoy a vegetarian hot pot package for the Vu Lan season including soup, mushrooms, a variety of vegetables, noodles and choice of mixed fruit, pear, corn and taro fruit juices. (Vu Lan is the Ghost Festival when Vietnamese express filial piety towards their parents and ancestors by offering vegetarian food).
The First Delicious Restaurant at First Hotel offers a VND70,000 set menu, including five options everyday; each has two main dishes and dessert (or drinks). The program runs from August 14 to September 30.
“The month of tourism promotion 2010†from September 1-30 will also discount 30% on room rates and 5% on the First Hot Pot menu.
“Vietnamese coffee breakfasts†is the new promotion at the Grand Hotel. At VND35,000 to VND50,000, guests can have bun bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup in Hue style), pho bo (rice noodle soup with beef), or hu tiu bo kho (rice noodle soup with braised beef) and enjoy special Grand coffee at the Belle-Vue on the twelfth floor or Coffee Lounge on the ground floor.
In addition, the Grand hotel’s Chez-nous Restaurant on the ground floor serves sumptuous buffet breakfasts with more than 30 European, Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. The restaurant also provides Vietnamese cuisine for lunch and dinner.
On the occasion of Saigontourist’s 35th birthday (August 1, 2010), the restaurant discounts 10% in the first month of opening. Guests will also receive a 10% discount coupon for their next visit. The program starts from August 9, 6am-10pm everyday.
