Vietnam Airlines offers nearly 750,000 seats ahead of upcoming holidays

Vietnam Airlines Group is set to provide approximately 750,000 seats on domestic and international routes in a bid to meet the high demand for upcoming national holidays.

Vietnam Airlines Group comprises of three subsidiaries, including national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, and Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO).

The move will see Vietnam Airlines and VASCO provide nearly 1,400 flights with over 266,000 seats on the occasion of the death anniversary of Hung King, the legendary founder of Vietnam, from April 8 to April 12, up 10% compared to the same period from 2019, while Pacific Airlines will operate nearly 200 flights with nearly 37,000 seats

During National Reunification Day on April 30 and May Day on May 1, Vietnam Airlines Group will supply nearly 450,000 seats from April 28 to May 4.

Accordingly, national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and VASCO will operate over 2,000 flights with approximately 395,000 seats on offer, up 10% over the same period in 2019, while Pacific Airlines will provide over 270 flights, equivalent to nearly 51,000 seats.

At present, Vietnam Airlines Group has increased flights on domestic routes that connect Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to famous tourist destinations such as Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and Con Dao.

The diverse flight schedule is expected to offer passengers the best travel experience and flexible travel options.

Since Vietnam officially reopened to international tourism on March 15, Vietnam Airlines has increased the frequency of international flights with new routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Delhi in India, as well as flights connecting Singapore with Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc.
