The first national kite festival was held in the northern province of Nam Dinh on July 5, attracting the participation of nearly 60 kite clubs from 40 cities and provinces nationwide.
Nearly 100 competitors will take part in the kite festival Da Nang Colours on My Khe Beach in Son Tra District on August 27-28.
An art kite festival is being held in the southern coastal province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau on January 1 to celebrate the New Year 2016.
