Japanese culture introduced in Da Lat City

Diverse Japanese cultural activities are taking place during the Japanese cultural days which opened on December 23rd in Da Lat City, the Central Highlands of Lam Dong.

Ikebana flower arrangement performed by artisan Suzuki Chiharu is being introduced according to topics of Japanese new year. Visitors also have a chance to study the way of Ikebana flower arrangement.

In addition, 45 Japanese dolls are on display at an exhibition. Japanese movies such as Psychic School War, Tenchi-The Samurai Astronomer, Mai Mai Miracle, Robo-G are being screend at April 3rd Cinema.

The event will run until December 27th to introduce Japanese specific cultural characteristics to tourists and local people, contributing to promoting the friendship relationship between the two countries.

It is being held by the Department of International Cooperation, the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Viet Nam in coordination with the Lam Dong provincial People’s Committee.
