The Quang Ninh People’s Committee has recognised Soi Sim beach in Ha Long bay and Tra Co beach Mong Cai city as standard tourist beaches.
The two beaches received the standard reorganization within five years.
The provincial People’s Committee asked management units to hang tourist beach plates on the two beaches and seriously follow regulations on managing tourist beaches in the province.
Soi Sim beach on Soi Sim island is located in the southwest area of World heritage Ha Long bay. With an area of 8.7 ha, the island has special geological structure with two-thirds covered by soil and soilweathering feralit quiz.
Tra Co beach, about 300km from Hanoi, is wide and plain beach, white and smooth sand, and blue sea water all the year round. The beach is about 15 kilometers long, on the edge of Tra Co peninsula, which was created by waves and flows.
