Sixty restaurants and hotels are showcasing dishes from more than 20 countries at 120 stands of a food festival, which opened in HCM City on December 5.
Visitors to the four-day event have the chance to sample specialities and watch traditional costume shows and folk games. Typical wines of various countries and the art of mixing drinks for bartenders are also introduced at the event.
Five-star hotel chefs will show off their skills in a cooking contest to introduce visitors to distinctive dishes of regions and countries.
The festival is taking place at the September 23 Park by the Municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the HCM City Tourism Association.
