Vietnam participates in Int'l Tourism Show
Update: Mar 27, 2013
A number of Vietnamese enterprises participated in the 38th International Tourism Show in Paris, with over 100,000 visitors from hundreds of countries and territories worldwide taking part.

The event offered Vietnamese firms a chance to seek partners and share experience with professional tour operators across the world.

Bertrand Sirven, a French tourist said various tourist attractions in Vietnam, especially those in mountainous areas remain untouched and will attract discovery lovers.

Sirven added that to make these spots popular among travellers, the tourism sector should improve the quality of services and enhance cultural, artistic and tourism activities, which feature distinguished characteristics of Vietnam and its people.

Besides traditional tourist products, it is necessary to develop new ones that are unique to each locality, such as adventurous and discovery tours, he said.

Other visitors to the event suggested that Vietnam take part in more international tourism fairs to promote its smokeless industry.
