(TITC) - On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Viet Nam and Italy (23 March 1973 - 23 March 2013), from 15 to 23 January 2013, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh leads the Vietnamese delegation to attend the Vietnamese Week in Italy in 2013.
In Italy, Viet Nam participates in a number of activities such as the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Viet Nam and Italy and art performance to celebrate the event; the opening ceremony of Vietnamese Cultural Space; exhibitions on Viet Nam - Italy solidarity in the years of 1960-1970, Vietnamese art paintings, Vietnamese fine art space; books and newspapers of Viet Nam; Viet Nam - Italy economic cooperation forum; working with Italy Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, signing two memoranda between the Social Republic of Viet Nam and the Republic of Italy on Italy CASA Project and Viet Nam - Italy cultural cooperation program in the period 2013-2016.
In the framework of the Viet Nam - Italy Economic Cooperation Forum, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST) coordinates with Vietnamese Embassy in Italy and Italian partners to organize Tourism Promotion Workshop on 21 January 2013. The workshop has the participations of representatives of MoCST, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnamese tourism companies and Italian representatives of tourism companies, investors, airlines, tourism authorities and media presses.
Over 40 years, the friendship and cooperation relationship between Viet Nam and Italy has been incessantly strengthened and developed in many fields. Vietnamese Week in Italy 2013 is an opportunity to strengthen further the close relationship between the two countries, at the same time promote the images of Vietnamese country and people to Italian people.
