China-based foreign diplomatic personnel visit Da Nang

From 1 - 2 October a 16-member delegation consisting of diplomatic personnel and their spouses from foreign embassies in China paid a visit to Da Nang.  This was part of a tour programme called "Exploring Viet Nam's Images and Tourism Potential".

The countries represented were Laos, Brunei, Albania, Myanmar, Nepal, South Korea, China and Viet Nam.  During their stay in Da Nang, they were taken to visit the city's major attractions including the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Marble Mountains, and the Son Tra Peninsula.  They also went shopping at Big C Mart, the Vinh Trung Plaza shopping centre, and the Thai Tuan fabric shop.  The delegation left for Nha Trang in the evening of 2 October.
