Vietnamese folk art on show in Quang Ninh

An exhibition of Vietnamese folk art opened on December 3 in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province, introducing the nation’s unique types of traditional art.

This exhibition is being held by the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Quang Ninh Museum.

On display are over 50 works selected by the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, including Hang Trong and Dong Ho woodcut paintings, and typical folk paintings from across the country.

The exhibition will impress visitors with the colours, original compositions and rich subjects of the works.

Artist Le Van Hai will present the Quang Ninh Museum with 150 folk woodcut prints in this exhibition.

The event is scheduled to finish on December 25.
