The first Panama week in Viet Nam

Embassy of Panama is holding Panama Week in Ha Noi from November 1 to 6, 2010 on the occasion of 35th anniversary of diplomatic relation between Viet Nam and Panama.

The first event of the Panama Week is the exhibition named “Discovering Panama”. Opened in the morning of November 1, 2010 at National Library, the exhibition displays images of Panama and Panamanian people. The exhibition will open until the end of November 6, 2010.

In addition, two Panamanian movies named “Punches of a country” and “Ghost 20-dollar bill” will be presented at 19h30 and 21h on November 5 and 6, 2010 in Ha Noi Cinematheque (22A Hai Ba Trung St, Ha Noi).

This is the first cultural event of Panama in Viet Nam. Formerly, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism contracted “Culture exchange program” for 2010 – 2011 period with National Cultural Institute of Panama. Two parties were unanimous in encouraging Vietnamese art troupes to perform in Panama and vice versa; strengthening art exchange; holding film festival and art, photo, craft exhibitions in each country; exchanging experience and co-operating in the fields of culture and museum.
