VND37 billion will be earmarked for a pilot project to restore Towers E7 and F1 of the UNESCO-recognised Cultural World Heritage site of My Son in the central province of Quang Nam.

The project will be carried out by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Quang Nam Province.

Both parties will also spend VND22 billion on clearing unexploded ordnance, improving the electricity and water supply systems, restoring the ecological environment and upgrading infrastructure in the area.

These projects are part of a master plan to preserve and promote the value of the My Son relic until 2012.
