The Thua Thien–Hue provincial People’s Committee has demanded that the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism implement a project to improve Hue royal music performances on the Huong River.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will work with the Department of Transportation and other offices to create a model for Hue royal music performances, regulate how the wharfs operate, and monitor the performances on the river. They will impose strict fines for illegal broking and overloading on boats.
The offices will also have periodical meetings with boat owners and businesses to put the project into action.
