The photo contest on the beauty of Dien Bien province has been launched to introduce and popularize its land, people, culture and tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.

The contest is one activity in the program on Viet Nam - Laos special friendship, held by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with Dien Bien provincial People’s Committee.
Entries must be about the beauty of the land, life and people in Dien Bien province; the provincial potential and advantages for tourism development, commerce in mountainous border areas; and special sentiments of people in the province and Lao people in border areas with Dien Bien province.
Entries, coloured or black and white, can be single photos or sets of photo, and must not have been entered or published in other contests.
