VNAT hosts famtrip for Malaysian tourism enterprises and media

(TITC) – From September 17-23, 2018, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) will host a famtrip for tourism enterprises and media from Malaysia to survey Viet Nam’s tourism products and services.

As scheduled, representatives of leading travel agencies and media from Malaysia will join the famtrip to visit popular attractions in some South Central Coastal provinces such as RD Wine Castle, Bau Trang, Mui Ne (Binh Thuan Province); Poklong Garai Cham Tower, My Nghiep brocade weaving village, Bau Truc pottery village, Vinh Hy Bay (Ninh Thuan Province); Aquarium Institute, Hon Mun Island (Khanh Hoa Province), and Bao Dai Palace, Dantala waterfall (Da Lat City - Lam Dong Province), etc.

Malaysia is one of the most important source markets of Viet Nam tourism in Southeast Asia. In 2017, Viet Nam received 480.456 Malaysian arrivals, seeing an increase of 17.9% compared to 2016; and 334.036 arrivals in the first 8 months of 2018, up 13% over the same period last year.

The famtrip is a good chance to introduce Viet Nam’s beautiful landscapes and good tourism products to Malaysian enterprises and media, and also to boost tourism cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
