The second pedestrian street in Ha Noi - a space for art and street food - was officially opened on May 11 at the lotus lake area, Trinh Cong Son Street, Nhat Tan Ward and adjacent areas.
Ha Noi inaugurates new pedestrian street along West Lake
The pedestrian street will be open from 7:30pm to 11pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The street aims to provide more recreational space for the local people and tourists, and help lessen the burden on the pedestrian area around Hoan Kiem Lake which has been suffering from congestion.
The new walking street has 50 booths offering the traditional crafts and signature foods of Tay Ho and Ha Noi such as Phu Thuong sticky rice, West Lake shrimp pancake, snail noodles, lotus tea, and Vong green rice flakes.
