Vietnamese culture promoted at Winternational Embassy Showcase

Photos and documents featuring Viet Nam's beautiful landscapes, people, and culture have been put on display at the 6th annual Winternational Embassy Showcase in Washington DC.


Vietnamese fine art on display at the e​vent

It is one of the biggest annual international cultural events in Washington, DC, attracting 5,000 visitors and representatives from 39 diplomatic agencies,  and the US flagship newspapers such as the Washington Post and Washington Diplomat.

Popular fine arts and handicrafts, hand-made items such as silk scarves, lacquer paintings, and porcelain and ceramic wares were displayed alongside the country’s traditional food in Viet Nam’s pavilion.

A series of of photos highlighting the Viet Nam-US also went on display on this occasion.

In a media interview at the exhibition,,Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Pham Quang Vinh described the cultural event as an opportune occasion for diplomatic agencies in Washington DC to popularise images of their home country and strengthen friendships between the US and other countries from across the globe, including Viet Nam.
