The low-cost carrier Vietjet Air continues to offer 150,000 promotional air tickets priced from just USD0 under “12pm, It’s time to Vietjet” from October 25th, 26th and 27th at www.vietjetair.com.
The promotion applies for all routes from Viet Nam to Kaohsiung, Taipei, Tainan, Busan, Seoul and Hong Kong.
The Ha Noi-Taipei flight will be operated on a daily basis from October 30th, 2016, with the flight time of 2 hours 45 minutes per leg, while the HCM city-Kaohsiung route will be launched on December 12th, 2016 with five return flights a week, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The Ha Noi - Busan route will be operated on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from December 16th, 2016.
Other routes include HCMC city - Hong Kong from December 9th, 2016, and Hai Phong - Seoul from December 11th.
In order to ensure safety and security for all passengers and flights, Vietjet Air banned Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones on any flights operated by the carrier from October 18th under any form of transportation, including carry on baggage, checked baggage as well as cargo services.
This ban followed an order from the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam on October 17th, 2016, recommendations from European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Federal Aviation Administration with respect to measurements to be taken to assure security and safety for all flights due to risk of fire and explosion posed by the battery of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 device.
