Argentine newspaper speaks highly of Ba Dinh Square (Viet Nam)

(TITC) – Recently, the Argentine daily newspaper of Pagina 12 has introduced 5 revolutionary squares in the world which are impressive destinations for international tourists, including Ba Dinh Square in Ha Noi, Viet Nam.

Located on Hung Vuong Street, with 320m length and 100m width, Ba Dinh Square - the largest square in Viet Nam (capacity of 20 thousand people) can facilitate organization of Viet Nam’s important celebrations.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is situated in the centre of Ba Dinh Square where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence to establish the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam on 2 September 1945.

Solemn flag hoisting and lowering ceremonies are held every day in Ba Dinh Square at 6am in summer (or 6.30am in winter) and 9pm respectively.

Ba Dinh Square Area exists several important buildings including the Presidential Palace, the headquarters of the National Assembly, the Central Office of Communist Party of Viet Nam...
