The system, which lies 70 km away from Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, is comprised of more than 10 caves which were originally discovered and explored in 1992.

In order to explore Tu Lan caves system, explorers have to trek through remote jungles, buffalo fields and cross rivers to enjoy the quiet and serene atmosphere of beautiful blue lakes, green trees, and small waterfalls. Tours exploring Tu Lan caves began 2014.

The price of the tour ranges from VND2 million (about US$89) to VND7.2 million (about US$320).

Apart from Tu Lan caves, En (Swallow) cave will also restart welcoming visitors on December 24 while Va and Son Doong caves will reopen on February 1, 2016.
