The “Mekong-Japan Tourism and Culture Festival†will be held in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho from December 2-5. The initiative was made at the Mekong-Japan Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held early this year in Tokyo.
A variety of activities and events will be held during the Mid-Autumn Festival 2009 in Hanoi's old quarter, scheduled to take place from September 19 to October 3. The festival aims to uphold traditional culture and honour the historical value of Hanoi’s old quarter as a national cultural site.
“Vietnamese-Japanese Mid-Autumn Festival 2009†will be held at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology from September 25 - 27. The event is a good opportunity for cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Japan.
