Vietnamese leading tourism enterprises honored

(TITC) – On the occasion of 56th anniversary of Viet Nam’s tourism sector (July 9, 1960 - 2016), on 9 July, at the Ha Noi Opera House, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in collaboration with Viet Nam Tourism Association (VITA) held a ceremony to announce the winners of 17th Viet Nam Tourism Award.

In his speech, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien highly valued the efforts and contribution of business community to the development of Viet Nam tourism. Tourism has increasingly been contributing to GDP, job creation and fostering other industries. Viet Nam tourism is striving to become a key economic sector of the country.

At the ceremony, 105 Vietnamese leading tourism enterprises were awarded, including:

Top ten 5-star hotels: InterContinental Da Nang Sun Peninsula, Rex Hotel (HCM City), Metropole Ha Noi, Vinpearl Da Nang Resort & Villas, Grand Hotel (HCM City), Majestic Hotel (HCM City), Fusion Maia Da Nang, JW Marriott Ha Noi, Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort, and Melia Ha Noi.

Top ten 4-star hotels: Sai Gon Phu Quoc Resort & Spa (Kien Giang Province), Continental Sai Gon (HCM City), Novotel Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa Province), Eden Phu Quoc Resort (Kien Giang Province), Sai Gon Mui Ne Resort (Binh Thuan Province), Bamboo Village Beach Resort & Spa (Binh Thuan Province), Sai Gon Morin Hue (Thua Thien Hue Province), Yasaka Sai Gon Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa Province), Hoi An Hotel (Quang Nam Province), and Sai Gon Da Lat Hotel (Lam Dong Province).

Top ten 3-star hotels: Victory Hotel (HCM City), Dong Xuyen Hotel (An Giang Province), Sai Gon Hotel (HCM City), Huong Sen Hotel (HCM City), Vien Dong Hotel (HCM City), Hoa Binh Hotel (Ha Noi City), Viet Nam Trade Union Hotel (Ha Noi City), Cuu Long Hotel (Can Tho City), AP Plaza Hotel (Hoa Binh Province), and Anh Nguyet Hotel (Ca Mau Province).

Top ten inbound tour operators: Saigontourist (HCM City), JBT-TNT (HCM City), HIS Song Han Viet Nam (Da Nang City), APEX Viet Nam (HCM City), Ben Thanh Tourist (HCM City), Vietnamtourism-Hanoi JSC (Ha Noi City), HG Travel (Ha Noi City), Fiditour (HCM City), Peace Tour (HCM City), and Vidotour (HCM City).

Top ten outbound tour operators: Saigontourist (HCM City), Vietravel (HCM City), Viet Media Travel (HCM City), Ben Thanh Tourist (HCM City), Viettours Incentives and Events (HCM City), Fiditour (HCM City), Vietnamtourism-Hanoi JSC (Ha Noi City), Transviet Travel (HCM City), TST Tourist (HCM City), and Hanoitourist (Ha Noi City).

Top ten domestic tour operators: Saigontourist (HCM City), Vietravel (HCM City), Fiditour (HCM City), Ben Thanh Tourist (HCM City), Peace Tour (HCM City), Cholontourist (HCM City), Viet Media Travel (HCM City), Viettours Incentives and Events (HCM City), Vietnamtourism-Hanoi JSC (Ha Noi City), and Hanoitourist (Ha Noi City).

Top ten restaurants: Elisa Floating Restaurant (HCM City), Viet Nam House (HCM City), Thap Nga (HCM City), Amigo (HCM City), Cluster of restaurants in Binh Quoi Tourist Village (HCM City), Ha Long Fishing Village Restaurant (Quang Ninh Province), Cuisine Area in Thai Hai Reserve Area of Ecological Houses-on-stilts Village (Thai Nguyen Province), Da Lan Restaurant (Thanh Hoa Province), Com nieu Hoi An Quy Nhon Restaurant (Binh Dinh Province), and Viet Village Restaurant (Tien Giang Province).

Top five shopping facilities: Trang Tien Plaza (Ha Noi City), Miss Ao Dai Shopping Center-Fine Art & Handicrafts (HCM City), Ninh Khuong Shop (HCM City), Minh Phuong Fine Arts & Handicraft (HCM City), and Sai Gon Woolen Carpet (HCM City).

Top five tourist automobile transport businesses: Saigontourist (HCM City), Peace Tour (HCM City), Trinh Gia tourist transport center (HCM City), Thien Thao Nguyen (Ha Noi City), and Minh Viet (Ha Noi City).

Top five tourist attractions: Vietnamese Women’s Museum (Ha Noi City), Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology (Ha Noi City), Hue Imperial Citadel (Thua Thien Hue Province), Museum of Ho Chi Minh City, and Sai Gon Zoo and Botanical Garden (HCM City).

Top five tourist rest stops: Viet Tien Son and Minh Anh (Hai Duong Province), Hai Van (Da Nang City), Sai Gon – Song Cau (Phu Yen Province), and Mekong (Tien Giang Province).

Top five tourist sites: Ba Na Hills (Da Nang City), Vinpearl Land Phu Quoc (Kien Giang Province), Vinpearl Land Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa Province), FLC Sam Son (Thanh Hoa Province), and Tuan Chau (Quang Ninh Province).

Top ten golf courses: Bluffs Ho Tram Strip (Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province), Sacom Tuyen Lam Golf Club (Lam Dong Province), Laguna Lang Co Golf Club (Thua Thien Hue Province), Da Nang Golf Club (Da Nang City, Montgomerie Links (Quang Nam Province), Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club (Ha Noi City), Viet Nam Golf & Country Club (HCM City), BRG King’s Island Golf Club (Ha Noi City), Song Gia Golf Club (Hai Phong City), and Van Tri Golf Club (Ha Noi City).
