ITE-HCMC has become one of the most important international events of Viet Nam tourism sector, which is a platform for regional and international tourism exhibitors, experts and media agencies to meet and boost tourism cooperation.
With the participation of over 40 countries and territories, ITE-HCMC 2018 sets target of expanding international tourist markets, particularly key markets including Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, North America and Europe.
ITE-HCMC 2018 is expected to attract the attendance of 375 buyers representing for leading airlines, hospitalities, resorts, travel agencies from countries and territories namely Cambodia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Holland, Philippines, Singapore, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Taiwan, etc. and tourism enterprises from 37 provinces and cities of the host country of Viet Nam.
In the framework of the event, a series of activities will be organized such as buyers and media programs; Opening ceremony - Gala Dinner; ITE -HCMC Awards 2018; Tourism photo exhibition; Seminars on introducing about Viet Nam tourism destinations with theme of “Viet Nam – Great journey”; Seminar on boosting tourism cooperation, etc.
Besides, the organization board will host Travel Fun Fair Day for consumers with varied activities like lucky draw programs; promotional tours; and a stage for startup tourism enterprises to show their projects.
Furthermore, international buyers and media will have chance to experience Viet Nam’s tourism products through sea and island tours, river-based tours in the south of Viet Nam.
ITE-HCMC 2018 promises to lure more than 30,000 visitor arrivals, seeing an increase of 20% compared to 2017.
