The service will provide information and answer questions of domestic and foreign visitors about tourism and travel security in the city for 24/7.
The line, using Vietnamese and English, also provides information on available tours, famous tourist spots, hotels and flight tickets.
According to Vice Chairman of the HCM City People’s Committee Le Manh Ha, this will be an effective tool for promoting tourism in the city.
Last year, nearly 4.4 million of foreign tourists arrived in the city, accounting for 56 percent of the national figure .
The city hopes to welcome about 4.7 million foreigners this year.
