|Many exciting activities to be organized in Traditional craft village tourism festival in Ha Noi and Red River Delta area 2013
(TITC) – Ha Noi’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize the “Ha Noi and Red River DeltaTraditional craft village tourism festival 2013” with the theme “The convergence of Red River specialized traditional craft villages” from 9th to 12th October 2013 at the Palace of Sports Apparel Horse in Ba Dinh Dist., Ha Noi
This is an important event of the National Tourism Year 2013 and to welcome the 59th anniversary Ha Noi’s Liberation Day.
According to the Organizing Board, the festival will be organized on a large scale with 5 areas for villages’ exhibition, tourism enterprises, airlines, cuisine and art cultural programs.
The opening ceremony will take place at 9a.m on October 9th 2013 with the ancestral processions of Bat Trang ceramic, Son Dong handicraft, Van Phuc silk, Ngu Hiep basket weaving, Phuc Tan silver villages and lion and dragon dances.
In addition, during the festival, many exciting activities will be organized, including the seminar with theme “The Facts and solutions to develop Ha Noi craft village tourism”; performances of traditional craft artisans. Especially, visitors will have a chance to enjoy the art culture programs and folk games, introduction of local tourism products, city tours, Ha Noi’s craft village tours…
The traditional craft village tourism festival aims to honor, preserve and develop the traditional craft of Ha Noi and localities in Red River Delta as well as provinces and cities in the country. This event contributes to promote Ha Noi’s tourism in particular and the country in general.
The programs of art culture, folk games, sports include:
- Art Culture: The Charming Viet Nam’s craft villages 2013, dance and music shows, Quan ho singing, Ca tru singing, Xam singing, folk singing, Cheo popular opera, Chau van singing, pop music, water puppetry, street festival, circus, magic shows...
- Folk Games: making children’s toys, chess competition, cooking contest, beating rice pots, walking on stilts, rope jumping, calligraphy, kite flying...
- Sports: Wrestling, volleyball exchange...
