Two world cultural heritage sites in the central province of Quang Nam, My Son sanctuary and Hoi An ancient town, will admit tourists free of charge during the Quang Nam Heritage Festival from June 22 to 26, according to the office of the festival’s organizing board.
The two heritage sites will be the focus of most cultural and art activities, seminars and exhibitions of the festival.
Specifically, the event will include ASEAN and Vietnam cultural heritage space exhibition, an international chorus competition, the public art festival of Vietnam’s ethnic minority groups, Cham Cultural Festive Day, a programme recreating the nights of Hoi An Ancient Town in the beginning of the 20th century, the national beach volleyball competition, the Quang Nam Heritage Festival golf tournament and a handicraft and fine art exhibition.
