Deputy Minister Le Khanh Hai said Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Viet Nam has directed Viet Nam tourism industry to strengthen the development cooperation with Uzbekistan and former Soviet Union countries as basing on close and long relationship. Viet Nam boasts a long coastline with many beautiful beaches, resorts system of high quality, unique tourism products, and rich cuisine which suit the needs of Eastern European tourists. Recently, the number of Eastern European arrivals to Viet Nam has been growing fast. On this occasion, Mr. Le Khanh Hai invited Uzbekistan National Administration of Tourism to join in the International Sea Travel Expo Nha Trang – Viet Nam 2013 (due from 6 to 8 June 2013) which remarkably includes the conference “Vietnam, Russia to develop culture and tourism cooperation”. For the development of the economy and exchanging tourists between the two countries, Deputy Minister Le Khanh Hai suggested that the two sides should consider to propose the opening of direct air route from Uzbekistan to Viet Nam.
Mr. Anvar P. Temirkhodjaev said: by attending the Viet Nam International Travel Mart Hanoi 2013 and visiting some famous tourist spots in Ha Noi and the World Natural Heritage of Halong Bay, he found that Viet Nam has many beautiful sights, diversified culture, developed economy… especially many young people having high incomes. He hoped many Vietnamese young people will visit the ancient beautiful cities of Uzbekistan. Mr. Anvar P. Temirkhodjaev also invited VNAT and travel businesses to join in the Tashkent International Travel Fair 19th (TITF 2013) from 8 to 10 October 2013 with the theme “Tourism on the Silk Road” and organize famtrip to Uzbekistan at the end of this year.
