(TITC) - After planning many times, in July 2012, Bernard Picasso’s family, the grandson of famous Spanish painter Pablo Picasso, left for Viet Nam to visit.

Bernard Picasso said his family had listened about Viet Nam through their friends. In his imagination, a person who has not been to Viet Nam, beautiful and friendly Viet Nam is one of must-see destinations in the world. His grandfather, Pablo Picasso always had a special sentiment for Vietnamese people and country when he lived. And great-grandparent of his wife, Mrs. Almine Rech, also are Vietnamese descent. Therefore, his family planned to visit Viet Nam for a long time, but now they have had opportunity to carry out.

Mrs. Almine Rech, Bernard Picasso’s wife, is a woman being Vietnamese origin. She really wants to return her motherland with her husband and children to visit relatives, ancestors and learn about the country where her forefathers were born. In this visit, Bernard’s family visited to Ha Noi, Hai Phong – home of Almine Rech, and some other famous tourist places such as Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City. Each destination makes very good impressions and memories on the hearts of the members of Bernard’s family. Bernard shared his feelings about this visit, he said he very love Viet Nam, because this country exists a lot of beautiful natural landscapes and special traditional cultural features as well as friendly and gentle people. Especially, Bernard enjoys Vietnamese traditional foods, because they have light taste, bring characteristic features, not much oil and spices as China foods and also not much picky as Western foods.

This visit to Viet Nam of Bernard Picasso’s family lasted for only more than a week but enough for them to feel about some unique beauties of the country and people here. Goodbye Viet Nam, Bernard said, if having occasion, he will return Viet Nam to continue to discovery hidden beauties of this beautiful Eastern country.
